Three-quarter the way though episode 14 we get the beginning of the Black Moon Arc. Peace returns to the lives of our Sailor Senshi until Mars sees something strange in the fire and Chibi Usa falls from the sky with a gun. I must say that SMC did a good job in this scene because I really felt the tension and that some shit is really going down, even though I knew what was going on.

In this Arc, the character designs are so good. It was a great translation of manga art into anime. This arc suited the SMC style perfectly as the characters were more sophisticated, elegant and feminine. The detailed costumes complemented the overall theme and feel of SMC.

The battles in this Arc are more intense than the previous, and it makes sense since they've been powered up after rebuilding the Moon Kingdom. The Spectre Sisters storyline was done better in the Original Anime though because I liked that they became everyday people after healing, we really got to sympathise with them and their ideals.
This arc also dealt more with their civilian lives than the previous one. There were a few random civilian characters introduced in the first episodes. In this arc, we see more development between the relationship of Mamoru and Usagi, between the inner Senshis and their relationships with Chibi Usa.
Speaking of relationships... Black Lady and Mamoru was so awkward, but we can't blame SMC for that. At the end, SMC did a really good job with this arc, creating intense battles and a great transformation scene for Chibi Moon.
